Growing with Ridge: A Tradition of Love through Photos

I had the absolute pleasure of capturing sweet moments of Taylor + Jabe's adorable 5-month-old, Ridge! Taylor and I go way back—I first got to know her when I started my photography journey around the Covid era. She had just started her influencer journey too, becoming a micro-influencer and working with brands like Vici and LTK!

We've both come such a long way since then. I was completely self-taught when I started, and looking back at our first shoot together, I can’t help but laugh at how much my editing has evolved. I always think, “I need a redo on those early pics!” LOL. But honestly, I’m so grateful to have someone like Taylor who’s been with me from the very beginning, continuously trusting me to capture these special moments.

This particular shoot holds extra meaning because it’s the same location where we did her baby announcement for Ridge! Hopefully, it becomes a tradition with her beautiful little fam. Being part of these milestones is exactly why I love what I do—it’s such an honor to capture these cherished memories!

This shoot originally started as a fun promotional session to capture content for my website and social media! I got to work with the sweetest couple, Olivia and Jake, and we totally vibed while planning the mood board and aesthetics. Olivia had the cutest outfits lined up—think adorable dress and cowgirl boots! But little did I know, this shoot was about to take a seriously exciting twist!

To my surprise, it turned into a surprise proposal shoot! Good thing I was ready for anything, LOL. Jake slyly came over during the session and asked to check the shot, saying, "I just wanna make sure the lake looks good in the background." I was like, "Okaaay, sure!"—never realizing he was secretly double-checking the perfect spot to pop the question. Next thing I know, he’s back in position and down on one knee! 💍

It was such a magical moment—so much fun and so beautiful. Their property, with the stunning landscape, truly gave off all the country love song vibes. ✨

Who Doesn’t Love, Love?

I had the sweetest opportunity of driving over to the lovely Birmingham, Alabama. This couple is near and dear to my heart, as Mary is my boyfriend, RJs cousin! So the pressure was on big time haha! I loveee engagement sessions and wish they could just happen everyday. Something about capturing love and freezing such a special moment in time for years is just so precious.

She’s a runner, she’s a track star…

LOL! I had to, but anyway, Charlotte was my first senior grad who’s on the track team here at The University of Georgia. Not only is she gorgeous, but she was so fun and bubbly, it was an ease to capture these images of her. I tend to love when my graduates incorporate items or locations that are more unique or personal to them, like the track. It always makes things more fun, especially from a creative standpoint!
